Building Productive
Relationships Workshop
Relationships can provide some of life’s most
rewarding and enriching experiences.
They can also generate misunderstandings and
frustration. This workshop will help you discover your own
motivation and strengths and give you a better understanding of
the motivation and strengths of others.
As you become more aware of yourself and
others, new choices become possible. This program is about
helping you make those choices and setting a course to build more
productive relationships.
Not only will you gain greater insight into
your own personal behavior, you will grow as a manager, a
supervisor, or as a team member.
What you will gain:
- A better understanding of your own
motivations for your behavior
- A working knowledge of how to interact
with other people in your life to encourage productive
relationships
- Methods for managing the conflict in your
life, including that which sometimes arises from differences in
our personal styles.
This workshop will utilize the
Strength Deployment Inventory,
a profiling instrument that provides an inventory of how
individuals deploy their strengths in relating to others. It is
designed to educate the participant in assessing the strengths
used in relating to others under two kinds of conditions: when
everything is going well and when faced with conflict and
opposition.
